The young men and women of the OA soccer teams just wrapped up their 2019 Youth Soccer camp. It was held July 8-10 at Gillespie in Batesville. The soccer teams had wonderful turn out with 62 campers ages 3 though 14. Along with the campers, 25 high school players gave their time to help as coaches.

"This was our 12th year running the camp.  It was great to see new faces, but even better to see some faces that have been coming for a long time." Coach Getz said. "We had one boy that has been coming for the past 8 years.  I have had parents call me saying they have to schedule their vacations around our camp.  That is awesome that kids want to come to this camp. Our goal at the end of camp is for all campers to like soccer as much as our high school players. We want to show kids how much fun soccer is.  For those that were fortunate enough to coach their kids you know what a great feeling that was.  I was one of those people; now I am fortunate enough to have my grandson coming to camp.  Life is good for this old Coach." Coach Getz added.

Both the men's and women's soccer teams will have their first home game August 20th vs Lawrenceburg. The men will start at 5 PM with the women starting at 7. Come out and support the Twisters!
